One year prior, Hanamaki Ichiko’s older bro went to a small town called Okunezato, but mysteriously disappeared and was never heard of again. Now a uni student thinking how to spend her summer vacay, Ichiko gets invited by her childhood friend Kagutsuchi Hino to attend a meet-up of a certain online club that focuses on discussing the mysteries of Okunezato town. Ichiko accepts the invitation, goes to the town to investigate her bro’s disappearance, and meets several people at the hotel she’s staying at.
I’m (unexpectedly) back after almost two years since my otoge “retirement” and boy I’m glad I returned with a really good game! This is a non-spoiler review of the summer mystery game 7’scarlet! ・´∀`・)

It’s the third game of our favorite steam punk otome game, Code:Realize, and it’s kinda Christmas themed! This is a really long spoiler-heavy post about the game, and I think I had too much fun writing the details of the Cantarella and Christmas stories, so they are extra long ahahaaha ^_^;; The Finis and Sholmes after stories are better written though! ・´∀`・)

Aspiring to be a teacher since she was a child, now-fresh graduate Yamashiro Koyomi is looking for a school to hire her. Unfortunately, she’s been failing all her job applications, until she gets hired by a school run by Nurarihyon. Little does she know that it is actually school for UMA (ayakashi and other mythical beings) who still cannot completely control their UMA selves, and now her job is not only to teach her students about the human world, but also to tame them by beating them up through choukyou! Koyomi isn’t up for the challenge at first, but after a promise from school director Nurarihyon that he’ll recommend her to a good human high school after one year as a choukyoushi, she takes on the job.
And yes, I’m still playing games because I still have a backlog to clear ww

Localized in the west as “Hakuouki Kyoto Winds”, Hakuouki Kaze no Shou is the first half of Hakuouki Shinkai, the remake of Otomate’s most popular game. This is my review of Kaze no Shou, the game that got me into a drama because some people thought that I was discouraging others from buying and supporting the game when I tweeted “Don’t play Hakuouki Kyoto Winds unless you want to be left hanging until they release the second part (god knows when)” sigh sigh sigh ( ´_ゝ`)
Possible spoilers and a bit of complaining ahead!

The game is set in Sakurada, a city located in California, USA. Although seemingly peaceful and lively outside, hidden in the dark streets of the city is the illegal trade of a powerful drug called the Rip Cord (it’s not lip code or lip cord jfc). To combat the increasing crime rate caused by the Rip Cord trade, the Sakurada Police formed a special unit called the Side Kicks, with members that each has unique skill sets. One day, after warning people about a truck that will smash through the diner that she is in, ultimately saving everyone, the heroine Inori gets scouted by Side Kicks to have her assist in investigations with her psychic dreams.
This is a non-spoiler review of the game・´∀`・)

While I was waiting for my next otome game to arrive (which is currently cockblocked by the customs office! Wow thanks, now my 2D boys won’t make it for Valentine’s Day!), I was just casually playing UtaPri Music 3… until I accidentally full combo’d Maji Love Revolutions on PRO and welp, now that I got the trophy I was sure I won’t be able to get, why not grind the game to get the platinum trophy!
So yeah, long story short, thanks to me getting the platinum trophy, I’m now writing this review + trophy guide post (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
