Happens one year after the incident in the first game, Tsugumi now continues to work as civil servant under the Owls. There are lots of new characters now, and as in the first game, Taisho Era social issues, especially regarding women and gender, are tackled a lot throughout the story.

This is a non-spoiler review of our favorite trashy Taisho Romance by Otomate ・´∀`・)

Suuran Digit

The Suuke or Digit Family is an elite group composed of ten different families: Reisaki, Ichizono, Nitou, Sanga, Shikata, Godai, Rokuhira, Shichihara, Hachizawa, and Kuori. They have an ancient history dating hundreds of years ago, in which one member of each family joins the Suuransen, a battle that will determine the next head of the Suuke. Three hundred years ago, however, an incident during the sixth Suuransen caused the entire Reisaki family to be wiped out. With no one from the Reisaki family now existing, it was said that the Suuransen will never occur again. That is until the heroine Reisaki Hiroka transfers to Soyogi Private School, the place where nine people from the nine different “Digit” family gather. As the “zero” mark, the digit thought never to be seen again, on Hiroka’s left hand appears, the new suuransen begins.

Possible spoilers ahead・´∀`・)

Localized in the west as “Hakuouki Kyoto Winds”, Hakuouki Kaze no Shou is the first half of Hakuouki Shinkai, the remake of Otomate’s most popular game. This is my review of Kaze no Shou, the game that got me into a drama because some people thought that I was discouraging others from buying and supporting the game when I tweeted “Don’t play Hakuouki Kyoto Winds unless you want to be left hanging until they release the second part (god knows when)” sigh sigh sigh ( ´_ゝ`)

Possible spoilers and a bit of complaining ahead!

The story happens in the distant future, after the last great war. The earth has been left in ruins and the pollution is really bad that the lifespan of mankind has been halved. At a slum area, a young man named Sud meets Atharva, a fugitive in search for a girl who is said to be a survivor from the old world and has the ability to clean the earth of pollution. After being chased by the government army that are after Atharva, the two young men escape and find themselves in an underground shelter called the Neosphere. There they meet the Neosphere’s only residents: a 3000-year old girl named Eve and her AI guardian Cradle. It’s the third game of Norn9! Last Era felt more like a sequel, so I guess we can say that Act Tune is finally the fandisk. The game has three scenario selections: Memoria, Legend of Norn, and Cantabile. Unfortunately, the game got really bad reviews (and I can see why, after playing the game), but I can’t say no to more Akito, can I? (=゚ω゚)ノ

This a full game summary-review, so lots and lots of spoiler ahead!

Wanting to pursue her dreams as a fashion designer, Sanjo Yunoha left her boring ryokan life in Kanazawa to study in Tokyo. Two years later though, she comes back after receiving news that her mother Misuzu, the Fukujurou onsen ryokan proprietress, was hospitalized. As per the doctor’s order, Misuzu needs to take a break from tending their ryokan, so Yunoha is forced to act as the Fukujurou’s young proprietress while her mother is away. Being the proprietress won’t be easy though, because a new resort ryokan, the Seihoukaku, has just opened nearby, and it’s getting more attention than Fukujurou! Now, what will Yunoha, as the young proprietress, do in order to build a name for Fukujurou?

This is a spoiler-free review of the game ・´∀`・)
